Before becoming a career coach, I spent my career in IT since I graduated from college. I started out as a software developer, then moved into a lead position in IT Quality Assurance testing while going back to school to obtain my MBA. Once I graduated with my MBA, I immediately moved into an IT Project Manager role, and since then I have worked in project and program management roles at several different companies in the insurance, financial and construction sectors both as a full-time employee and a consultant.
In the back of my mind over the years, I often wondered what it would be like to be in business for myself, but thought it was out of reach for me. Then a recent layoff forced me to take a hard look at my career trajectory and what I wanted for my future. While I have had many years of success in the corporate world, I felt that I was ready for a change and take control of my career and future.
I spent considerable time assessing my life and future, looking at various options. Reflecting on the aspects of my work that I found fulfilling, I found that leading and helping educate others, assisting them to become successful in their work was a particularly fulfilling part of my job. This was the turning point that provided clarity of direction for my career. It was at this point that I launched my journey into business ownership.
My passion now is to assist others in their journey of self-discovery and clarity of vision for their future. I want others to find fulfillment in their careers and take control of their destiny to achieve success. I want others to experience what I did and fuel that drive and passion for change to have success and fulfillment in their lives. I’m eager to assist you on this journey to discover opportunities and unlock your true potential. If you are at a point in your professional career where you feel unfulfilled and want something more, and are ready to uncover new possibilities, let’s have a discussion to begin the journey to your better future
